Hope and promise lie ahead Throughout the world 1 in 5 people are living with mental health issues, and we know now, more than ever, that there is no health without mental health. Mental illness can leave one feeling locked in a cage. The design elements on this scarf illustrate the highs and lows, disorientation, loss of time, and riding an emotional rollercoaster. But inherent in the design is also the bird with the key to freedom, releasing the shackles of mental illness, and revealing the path to hope and promise that await us.
